What is "IntelliBan"?
IntelliBan is a mirc script. Mirc scripts are made to enhance your IRC experience by doing
things automaticly for you. IntelliBan is short for "Intelligent Ban". IntelliBan is a script
which, instead of just using /ban with a mask number,
checks the address of the nickname to ban, and uses a banmask which is probably the best to keep
this nickname out.
How to use IntelliBan
You can use IntelliBan with the following command:
/intelliban [#channel] nickname [kick message]
If "Kick if kick message is supplied" is enabled:
IntelliBan options
After you loaded IntelliBan, you can modify the settings to your
need with /iboptions. These are the options, and what they mean:
Enable Intelliban - enables IntelliBan (the /intelliban and /ib command)
Kick if kick message is supplied - When you want to kick the nickname only if you specified a kickmessage,
enable this option.
Always kick - Enable this option if you always want to kick the nickname.
Edit custom kick message - If you want to specify a custom kickmessage (this message is used when you don't
provide one when you use /intelliban or /ib),
use this editbox. If you don't enter any text, the message will show the name of this script as kick message.
Kick all clones - kicks all clones which match the ban(s) Intelliban just set.
Ignore clones - only kicks the nickname you specified in the /intelliban command, and ignores clones.
If banlist is full, do nothing - Only kicks the nickname, unable to ban the nickname because the banlist is full.
If banlist is full, unban - Removes "number of bans" (specified at the editbox) before banning (and kicking if enabled) the nickname.
